Daniel Cammish heads in to rounds seven and eight of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB championship with a 27 point lead that he will be looking to build on as the series arrives at Croft this weekend.
Having taken on pole position, two fastest laps and four wins so far this season the Yorkshireman will be hoping to extend his lead over nearest rival Stephen Jelley.
“I am very much looking forward to Croft this weekend as it is the home race for both myself and my team Redline Racing.” said Cammish. “It is also a rather important race weekend as we hit the mid way point of the season and I would very much like to keep or extend my points advantage.
“Croft has both fast and technical sections which makes it very challenging, along with a track surface which is notoriously tough on tyres. It is sure to make for exciting racing. I intend to use the home advantage to continue my good form in front of my friends and family.”
Two practice sessions on Friday 26 June will get proceedings under way while qualifying will take place on Saturday 27 June before both races on Sunday 28 June.
