Zamparelli Stuns In Carrera Cup GB at Croft

1 Mins read

Dino Zamparelli hit the front of the Porsche Carrera Cup of Great Britain on Friday at Croft, with the former single-seater racer showing the inherent pace it was suspected he possessed pre-season for Parr Motorsport. Stephen Jelley and Josh Webster made it three different teams in the top three, negotiating the Yorkshire venue in their Team Parker Racing and Redline Racing machines respectively.

In Pro-Am1, it was the twenty-six car of Jordan Witt that set the pace for Redline, with his teammate Jack Falla third and Mark Cole sitting between the pair for Parr Motorsport and making it a very colourful top trio.

The Pro-Am2 boys hit the circuit again, although mercifully the majority avoided excursions after a hectic finale at Oulton Park. John McCullagh, Francis Galashan and Peter Parsons once again saw that three different entrants occupied the top three positions, with Redline Racing, GT Marques and Credit4Cars respectively.

Qualifying takes place at 15:05 tomorrow afternoon.
