COTA competition offers fans the chance to meet Lewis Hamilton

1 Mins read

Fans of Formula 1 and Lewis Hamilton are invited to join in a competition to visit the Circuit of the Americas during the United States Grand Prix weekend and meet the current World Champion.

The competition will see one winner from the EU and another from the USA, who, along with a guest, will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the 2015 United States Grand Prix on the weekend of October 23-25, as well as 4-night stay in the Texas Capital, a rental car and $1000 in spending money.

For the chance to meet Hamilton, COTA is asking the Mercedes AMG PETRONAS driver’s fans to showcase why they should be chosen via Social Media platforms. Until August 17, fans should demonstrate ‘WHY I SHOULD MEET LEWIS AT COTA’ in the most ‘creative’ way they can.

Suggestions for ways to apply include using photos, vines, songs, short videos, animations and poetry, with the judges insisting that the more creative and passionate the entry the better.

“The U.S. Grand Prix is always one of the highlights of my year and I can’t wait to return to Austin and COTA in 2015 to defend my title at this amazing circuit,” insisted Hamilton.

“I’m equally excited to meet with my amazing fans when I’m there, so make sure to enter the competition and be as creative as possible and it could be you joining me in Austin! I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with!”

Failure to do so will render any entries void. All forms of media are accepted (photos, text, poems, vines etc.) as long as they can be sent via social media.
