Eng Maintains Advantage in Budapest

Philipp Eng and his re-liveried Team Project 1 machine have continued their recent run of form with the Austrian topping the practice time sheets for the fifth round of the 2015 Porsche Mobil1 Supercup at the Hungaroring.

His title rivals Michael Ammermüller (Lechner Racing Middle East) and Christian Engelhart (MRS-GT Racing) sit behind Ammermüller’s teammate Sven Müller but are going to need to find a fraction more pace to depose the series leader this weekend.

Ben Barker and Cameron Twynham fly the flag for Britain and MOMO-Megatron Team PARTRAX with the more experienced former Porsche Carrera Cup GB driver seventh and the single-seater convert eighteenth.

Elsewhere, Johnny Herbert secured twenty-fourth as the former British Grand Prix winner guests in the series this weekend. Ryan Cullen has also stayed on, gaining further Porsche experience whilst the GB series enjoys a well deserved summer break. His time was good enough for twenty-first in his VERVA Lechner Racing Team machine.
