In an article that will read much like that concerning the four previous qualifying sessions for the 2015 Porsche Carrera Cup GB, Dan Cammish is the only name that really seems to matter. That and Redline Racing, the squad behind Dan’s tremendous domination this season.
A double pole for the Yorkshireman. Team Parker Racing’s Josh Webster will try to best Cammish tomorrow and stands the best chance, lining up on the first row of the grid for both Sunday encounters. Meanwhile Tom Sharp’s colourful IDL Racing machine takes a double third and a podium result would be much applauded.
In Pro-Am1 Jordan Witt and Redline lead Ignas Gelzinis and Juta Racing for the first of the two races tomorrow morning, with the evening race seeing those two reversed. Jack Falla is third for Redline in both qualifying classifications.
Tautvydas Barstys, Peter Jennings and John McCullagh (Juta Racing, G-Cat Racing and Redline) head the Pro-Am2 standings for round nine of the season and will aim to stay out of the trouble that occasionally has blighted the class thus far in 2015. For round ten
Jennings, Ian Dockerill (Credit4Cars) and Barstys is the order.
Race one sees the beginning of the second half of the season’s competition at 10:45 tomorrow morning. Race two takes place at 17:40 as the final race of the day.
