1 Mins read

International Motorsport Company JRM have announced that they are holding a test day for their new NR4 spec- Subaru WRX STI. Drivers and teams will be able to test the car, which is eligible to compete in the WRC 2 and ERC2 categories, on Wednesday, August 12 at the MIRA proving ground and test track in Leicestershire, UK. The car will be driven on the venue’s ‘ride and handling’ asphalt circuit.

JRM’s professional test and development driver, Terry Kaby, will attend the test to offer teams and drivers advice and technical insight.

“This is the newest production rally car anywhere in the world and, with our endurance tests and latest development phase complete, we’re now in a position to invite suitable teams and drivers to put the Subaru through its paces,” JRM’s senior sales manager, Steve Smith, said.

“As a 2015 model, this NR4 WRX STI brings the very latest vehicle technology – that Subaru has developed for its road-going variant – to rallying’s production category. We’re expecting that to represent a significant step in performance that will benefit crews who are serious about winning the production class at all levels of competition.”

JRM will also be planning further tests in the coming weeks.
