Peugeot-Hansen Looking For Win No.4 in France

1 Mins read

After a slow start to the 2015 FIA World Rallycross Championship, Team Peugeot-Hansen are looking to be the team to beat as the series moves to Loheac in France for round 9 of the season.

So far, Davy Jeanney has taken two victories in Germany and Canada, whilst team-mate Timmy Hansen took his first win in 2015 at Hell in Norway. It should also be noted that Hansen has also been the Day One leader for the past three events. With this in mind, the Franco-Swedish outfit supported by Peugeot Sport is looking for win number four this weekend and also an oppurtunity for both Hansen and Jeanney to close on Championship leader Petter Solberg in the points.

Davy Jeanney is looking forward to competing on home turf this weekend.

“Competing on home turf in front of the French fans will really bring out the best of me. Lohéac is an abrasive track, and it is important to take this factor into account,” explained Jeanney.

Team Principal Kenneth Hansen is optimistic for more podium success at Loheac this weekend.

“It’s fantastic to be heading to France – Peugeot’s backyard – at the top of the Teams’ standings. What’s more, Lohéac is a circuit that we know very well. As ever, we will need to work hard and remain fully focused throughout the race weekend, but we are confident we can fight for victory once again. Replicating our result from Hell will undeniably be a tall order, but if we do manage it, that really would be quite an achievement!”
