1 Mins read

An unidentified twenty-seven-year-old man has been arrested after wandering onto the track during the Singapore Grand Prix and causing the second safety car appearance of the afternoon.

The man managed to get onto the track near turn thirteen and walked down the side of the track alongside the barrier, with local police making the arrest following the incident.

The FIA have decided to wait for a report on the incident before deciding whether or not any actions need to be taken.

“We are awaiting a full report from the Clerk of the Course in order to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident,” said a post-race statement from the FIA.
