Wayne Boyd set for Rallycross challenge at Mondello Park

1 Mins read

Former British Formula Ford champion and Formula Ford Festival winner Wayne Boyd will make his Rallycross début at Mondello Park on 22 November after announcing that he will be competing in the Patch Tyre Equipment/Naas Court Hotel Fiesta Championships’ celebrity car.

Boyd will be looking to emulate Superbike Champion Brian McCormack who drove the car in the opening round and manage to take three heat wins.

“I’m looking forward to this.” said Boyd. “I’m definitely more of a single seater man, but this looks like good fun.

“Brian went well in the car last time out too, so no excuses! Thanks to the Irish Rallycross Championship and Leo Nulty Promotions for the opportunity!”
