1 Mins read

Fans of the FIA World Rally Championship can now get a taste of the official game of the series on XBOX One and Playstation 4 for free.

Game publishers Bigben Interactive S.A. have released a demo version of WRC5 to the online stores which will give players chance to test their driving skills behind the wheel of Thierry Neuville‘s Hyundai i20 WRC on the straight and technically demanding icy asphalt of Sisteron-Thoard from the Rallye Monte-Carlo and Newry‘s winding, dusty forest roads from the Coates Hire Rally Australia.

This weekend sees the start of the FIA WRC season at Rallye Monte-Carlo, it also marks the first round of the upcoming eSports WRC tournament that will see gamers battle it out to set the fastest time on stage. The top three times from Xbox One, PS4 and PC will then go through to a semi-final against 42 other drivers to make it through to the final which will be held on-site at Wales Rally GB.

You can find the demos online for Playstation 4 here and Xbox One here.

Further details of the eSports WRC event can be found at www.wrcthegame.com.
