The UK motorsport season has opened with the MGJ Engineering Brands Hatch Winter Stages Rally. So, we sent our British GT photographer off to Brands Hatch at the weekend with a challenge. Shoot your first rally, but you can only do it from public areas. Armed with two cameras, a spectator ticket and a thermos of coffee, Nick Smith headed down to Kent and brought back these photos of the January round of the Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship.
