Dan Cammish has added a further two pole positions to his already long list of Porsche Carrera Cup GB achievements, following a successful Saturday at Brands Hatch.
Redline Racing driver Cammish leads the order for both races, trailed by GT Marques man Dino Zamparelli and Jonas Gelzinis (Juta Racing) for race one. The grid for the second encounter is shuffled slightly, with Gelzinis only ninth and Tom Sharp (IDL Racing – fourth for race one) third.
Of the rookies, Charlie Eastwood (Redline Racing) took an impressive pair of fifth place grid slots, besting Alessandro Latif (GT Marques) on best times, and ex-Ginetta star Tom Oliphant (Redline Racing) on race two classifications.
In Pro-Am1 Sean Hudspeth shocked for Parr Motorsport to grab race one pole from In2Racing and Dan McKay. Pro-Am2 pole-sitter John McCullagh split Dan McKay and his brother, fellow Pro-Am1 contestant Euan, on the opening race order. Dan leads Euan and Hudspeth for the race two Pro-Am1 start, with McCullagh again on top in Pro-Am2. In both instances the Pro-Am2 order is the same, with McCullagh ahead of Peter Kyle-Henney (Parr Motorsport) and Juta Racing’s Tautvydas Barstys.
Carrera Cup GB kicks off tomorrow morning with a rolling start for the non- live televised race at 10:00am, with race two off at 03:30pm and live on itv4.
