Doran excited about massive developments on JRM Mini RX

1 Mins read

Liam Doran is looking to get back to winning ways this weekend as he teams up with JRM Racing for the 2016 FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy, driving their iconic Mini RX supercar.

The switch to JRM means that this will be the first time that Doran has run in WRX as just a driver, leaving him time to fully focus on the task ahead and not worry about team management.

“I’m really excited about getting into the MINI RX because I know what the car is and what it’s capable of doing,” said the British Bomb.

Doran claimed a gold and silver medal at X Games Munich in 2013 driving the Mini under his LD Motorsports banner and is happy to be back in the Mini.

“The developments that have been put in place by JRM are massive, the reliability and consistency that’s needed to win a championship isn’t going to arrive overnight. My aim is to start the season strongly by being happy and comfortable in the car and making sure it’s working properly.” he added.

Doran and the JRM team recently filmed a promotional video for Quest TV who will be showing all twelve rounds of the FIA World Rallycross Championship live throughout the UK on freeview tv which can be seen here.
