Meeke and Breen back in WRC for Rally Portugal

1 Mins read

Northern Ireland’s Kris Meeke will make his next appearance in the 2016 FIA World Rally Championship for the Abu Dhabi Total World Rally Team at Rally Portugal next month. The 2015 Rally Argentina winner has made two appearances so far impressing with his pace in Monte Carlo and Sweden before a rock but him out on both occasions.

Meeke finished fourth last year in Portugal and will be hoping to continue his good run of form in the Citroen DS3 WRC.  Joining Meeke and his co-driver Paul Nagle will be Stéphane Lefebvre/Gabin Moreau and Khalid Al-Qassimi/Chris Patterson.

Craig Breen will also make his return to the wheel of the DS3 when he re-joins the team for Rally Poland. The Irishman impressed with pace in Sweden and won the Circuit of Ireland earlier in the month in a Citroen DS3 R5. He will be aiming to continue his good form on the Eastern European event.

The WRC returns with Rally Argentina this weekend.
