Visser completes Teo Martin Motorsport line-up

1 Mins read

Beitske Visser has been announced as Teo Martin Motorsport’s second driver for the 2016 Formula V8 3.5 Series, joining the already confirmed Yu Kanamaru.

Visser had raced in the championship in its former Formula Renault 3.5 Series guise with AVF, but left the Spanish team at the end of the 2015 season, and had tested during the off-season with both Strakka Racing and Teo Martin Motorsport.

The Dutch female ace will make her race debut with the team this weekend at Motorland Aragon, the first race of the new era of the championship now being promoted by RPM Motorsport and Jaime Alguersuari Snr.

“I’m very happy to race with Teo Martin Motorsport this year,” said Visser. “I feel very confident after the test last week.

“It’s working well together with the team and I think that we can make some very good results together. I would like to thank my sponsors Gecrio and Extra for giving me this chance”.

Team owner Teo Martin believes Visser’s experience will help team-mate Kanamaru and the whole team during the 2016 season, and feels Visser is set for a breakthrough season this year.

“Beitske Visser arrives in my team at the best sporting period of her life,” said Martin. “She has two years of experience in this championship and Yu Kanamaru will take profit of her great experience in this discipline and help the team to move forward.

“I’m sure she will make a qualitative leap this season and she will give us many joys, for sure”.
