Testing got underway yesterday (26 July) afternoon for the 2016 Total 24 Hours of Spa as the Bronze drivers took chance to familiarise themselves with the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.

The three hour session saw 37 cars participate as the less experienced drivers gained some valuable track time ahead of the weekend.

It was the #74 ISR Audi R8 LMS that made the most of the session as the team competed 49 laps of the 7.004km Belgian track.

The fastest lap of the session fell to the #132 Lago Racing Lamborghini Gallardo R-EX which recorded a time of 2:21.84s early in the session. The #53 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GT3 finished in second place, with the #666 Barwell Motorsport Lamborghini Huracan GT3 rounding out the top three cars. All three cars are entered for the Pro-Am Cup with the fastest Am Cup machine finishing in fourth place, the #30 Team Parker Racing Bentley Continental GT3.

Today features the tradional parade from the circuit in to the town centre via public roads with all drivers participating in an autograph session before returning to the circuit for a drivers briefing. Track action returns tomorrow with a 90-minute-long free practice session starting at 13:20, Pre-Qualifying starts at 17:45 with Qualifying at 20:00 and Night qualifying at 21:45 (all times local).
