Sauber announce MODO as Premium Partner

Eyewear company MODO have become a Premium Partner to the Sauber F1 Team. MODO were founded in New York and are always pushing for innovation and technology.

MODO have begun their partnership with Sauber at the Italian Grand Prix and will continue their association with the Swiss Team for the rest of the 2016 season.

Sauber’s Team Principal, Monisha Kaltenborn has welcomed the partnership with MODO, “We are delighted about our new partnership with MODO – a lifestyle brand that has chosen with Formula One and us the perfect platform to represent its brand and products.

“Technological innovation, detailed precision, and the push for excellence are values the Sauber F1 Team stands for.”

The Founder and CEO of MODO, Alessandro Lanaro sees Formula 1 as the perfect theatre to advertise their brand: “Our common interests in technology, innovation, and using new materials to create the highest performance make us ideal partners.

“The Formula One environment is the perfect theatre to showcase our brand and products.  We are also excited to further develop our partnership by researching new technologies with the Sauber Engineering.”

Sauber have had a difficult season so far, with limited resources and finances the team are unable to develop the car. With new finances from Longbow Finance the team will look to improve into 2017.
