Tänak said pre-Tour de Corse “I’m really looking forward to the rally as I struggled here last year and I’m determined to go back, do things differently and improve.

“It’s a big challenge, a proper event and for sure we need a couple of rallies like this in the championship. It will be difficult and the long stages really will be a challenge.”

DMACK’s Managing Director Dick Cormack added “It’s our first competitive outing in Corsica and we are expecting it to be a demanding event.

“However, we were pleased with the performance in Germany and are aiming to build on that. The event can throw up a real mix of conditions and surfaces so we are looking forward to the challenge.”
