Daniil Kvyat is already looking ahead to 2017 after being resigned by the Scuderia Toro Rosso team alongside Carlos Sainz Jr.
2017 brings a big change in the regulations as the car are more focused on the aerodynamics rather than the power units which have dominated the past three seasons.
“I had a talk with my trainer the other day wow, there’s really a lot to do to get ready for next year, but I like it a lot it’s an additional challenge to face” said Kvyat.
Preparation for next season is even more important as the drivers must adjust to faster and more demanding cars.
Kvyat is looking forward to 2017 after a tricky 2016 campaign, the Russian was demoted from the senior Red Bull Racing team but he has gradually improved over the final races.
Red Bull have shown faith in Kvyat and believe that he still has a future in Formula 1 despite being somewhat overshadowed by Carlos Sainz Jr.
Sitting in fourteenth place in the Championship, Kvyat is twenty-one points behind Sainz but Red Bull have kept the same two drivers for 2017 to keep consistency ahead of a big change in the regulations.
