With scoring his first points of the 2016 Formula 1 season, Felipe Nasr is traveling to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with a positive mindset.
The Sauber F1 Team driver ended his pointless streak that goes back to the 2015 United States Grand Prix, after he finished the Brazilian Grand Prix in ninth. Throughout the Grand Prix, it was looking promising that Nasr would score points. Both Manor Racing MRT drivers failed to keep their positions in the top ten to the chequered flag, which meant the Swiss team are now ahead of them in the Constructors’ Championship.
For the Brazilian the season is not over yet, with an objective to clearly keep their current position in the Championship.
“After my great result at my home Grand Prix in Brazil,” said Nasr. “I am traveling to Abu Dhabi with a positive mindset.
“I enjoy being there, as I always receive a warm welcome and a lot of support, both in the UAE and the whole of the Middle East, because of my family’s Lebanese roots. The food is really amazing.
“I also like the people, their traditions, and their cultures. The season is not over yet, so our objective is clearly to keep our current position in the standings.”
