Pipo Derani is one of the brightest young talents to emerge from sportscar racing in recent years.
The 23-year-old from Sao Paulo has been turning heads with his performances in the LMP2 category of the World Endurance Championship, driving for American outfit Extreme Speed Motorsports.
Derani has also added two major endurance crowns to his CV in just his second season of prototype racing, winning the Daytona 24 Hours and Sebring 12 Hours at the start of 2016.
In this video, Derani looks back on all the best moments from a breakthrough year, backed up by the praise of ESM team-mates Scott Sharp and Ed Brown who have likened his style to that of another Brazilian driving star: Ayrton Senna.
