The EF7 Vision Gran Turismo, the brainchild of two time FIA Formula 1 champion Emerson Fittipaldi and Pininfarina, is set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show on 7 March.
The design is the product of a racing legend and two of the world’s most respected auto houses, and vies to attract both the speed demon as well as the gentleman driver.
“[T] cars Pininfarina and HWA AG have built for over 100 years combined are the best in the world – the quality of their workmanship is on an extraordinarily high level,” Fittipaldi said.
“This fusion is unique, probably the first time, and it’s a great privilege to concentrate their collective talents into one new brand, the EF7 Vision Gran Turismo by Pininfarina.”

For its “heartbeat” the team turned to the revered HWA AG in Germany, who boast an impressive heritage within motorsport engineering. It will be powered by a naturally aspirated V8 engine that will top 592bhp, and weigh around 1000kg due to its carbon fibre body.

The car will also be available in its namesake game, Gran Turismo. Fittipaldi worked closely with Polyphony Digital to recreate the EF7 virtually, and release the car as a digital download to allow a much larger audience experience the limited edition car.

The EF7 will soon be seen pounding the tracks, but only in the hands of a select few.
