Lewis Hamilton teams up with Monster Energy for signature drink

1 Mins read

Three-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton is set to collaborate with popular energy drinks brand Monster Energy, to create and release his own personalised beverage.

Monster Energy have already cemented a strong partnership with the Mercedes AMG Petronas Motorsport Team as a long-time sponsor of the German squad, but this new deal will see Hamilton converse personally with the drinks company to raise his own profile with the company, outside of that realm.

The brand already have a world-class list of athletes, drivers, riders and personalities on their books, and the Brit will only up their status further with his own unique profile.

Hamilton was clearly enthused by the new project he would be undertaking, with a company he feels portray his way of thinking.

“I’m super excited to announce that I’m going to be partnering with Monster Energy and working with them to bring out my own drink, which is something I’ve wanted to do since we began working together years ago.”

“Monster Energy is such a cool brand. They are involved in so many great sports that I watch as a fan and participate in during my own spare time.

“It’s also a really exciting opportunity for me to meet and collaborate with other Monster athletes I admire. There are exciting times ahead. “The Monster Energy brand culture and lifestyle really fits with my own and I’m proud to be a part of the Monster family.”

Rodney Sacks, Chairman and CEO of Monster Energy, was delighted the firm would be working with the three-time world champion on a project that he feels the fans will really love.

Lewis is truly a remarkable athlete and talent who is a good friend of the company, so this is a natural progression for us both.

“Our partnership with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport team is a huge asset to the brand, and will continue strongly into the future.

“By now joining forces with Lewis in his personal capacity we look forward to celebrating even more wins through some collaborative, innovative activity, which our fans will be able to experience before long.”
