Porsche Carrera Cup GB stalwarts In2Racing are still searching for a final driver to complete their McLaren GT4 line-up for the 2017 British GT season.

Having already confirmed ex-Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship contenders Richard Marsh and Gareth Howell in one of the team’s two brand-new McLaren 570s GT4 machines, Marcus Hoggarth then became the first confirmed driver for the second entry at the British GT media day. The team also ran James Birch alongside Hoggarth as part of their driver evaluation. .

However, Hoggarth’s co-driver is yet to be signed. Team principle Nick Dudfield commented, “We believe that we can compete at the front of British GT4 in 2017. It is going to be a great season we are getting to grips with the McLaren well so far in pre-season testing . Marcus is very experienced in GTs from his time in GT Cup and Ginetta Supercup, and we really believe that with a quick driver alongside him we will have two highly competitive entires in GT4 this season.”

Our original story on In2Racing’s British GT entry for this season can be found here.

Author’s Comment: “With less than two weeks until British GT for 2017 begins, time is now against In2Racing in their quest to fill the final vacant seat in their second McLaren GT4. In Marcus Hoggarth they have an experienced GT driver who will likely extract as much as possible from the new machinery. Drivers interested in the vacant seat are urged to contact team principle Nick Dudfield as soon as possible.”
