Petter Solberg led another PSRX Volkswagen Sweden  1-2 in Q3 in an impressive display of speed which saw the former champion finish with a total time of 2 minutes 44.055, teammate Johan Kristoffersson was full 1.685 seconds behind, with reigning champion Mattias Ekström in third place over 3 seconds off of the pace of the former double champion.

Sébastien Loeb put in a strong performance in the Team Peugeot-Hansen 208 to finish in fourth overall ahead of a feisty Andreas Bakkerud who completed a pass by Timmy Hansen in to Paddock Hill bend much to the delight of the crowd. Head Hoonigan Ken Block split Bakkerud and Hansen in the overall times with another confident performance.

Toomas Heikkinen took a much needed eighth place overall after stopping on track in Q2, dropping him down the overnight standings, the result slots him in to the final position for the semi-finals with one qualifying race still to go.

British Touring car ace Andrew Jordan lost time on a botched joker lap which saw him drop from second place to last in his qualifying race and as a result a time which was only good enough for eighteenth position. Despite the result the Brit is hanging on in the top twelve, one position ahead of EKS RX’s Heikkinen.

With one qualifying race left to go, Solberg heads the top 12 drivers followed by Kristoffersson, Ekström, Bakkerud, Loeb, Hansen, Block, Kevin Eriksson, Timur Timerzyanov, Janis Baumanis, Jordan, and Heikkinen.

Guy Wilks is currently in thirteenth position overall, just five points off off of the twelfth-placed Heikkinen.
