Timur Timerzyanov put in an impressive performance to make it through to the 2017 World RX of Norway finals.

The STARD-Team driver has been constantly improving throughout the season and made it through to the finals for the first time this year in his Ford Fiesta after making five semi final appearances.

Timerzyanov edged in the finals as he passed former champion Petter Solberg to claim third place in the semi-finals.

While the Russian ended the final in sixth place he put in a strong performance and battled all of the way until the chequered flag.

STARD-Team Boss Manfred Stohl was happy with the performance his driver put in, “Timur demonstrated here optimally his verifiable strengths.

“In the semi-final heat this time finally, everything fit, the driving skills as well, as the decision, when the Joker Lap must be done. This was a really good day for us”.
