With the cars having been in transit since the World RX of CanadaTimur Timerzyanov has been in training to keep himself ready for the next round of the 2018 FIA World Rallycross Championship.

The 2018 World RX of France is one of the most popular rounds of the World RX season every year and the Russian driver is ready to get back into the action and find a way to close the gap to the front.

“Everyone always has high expectations for Lohéac because its a fantastic race and very popular. The circuit is short, difficult and quite tricky,” explains the GRX Taneco driver.

“There’s usually not much gap between cars. I stepped up my training after Canada and analysed my strengths and weaknesses over the last few races, to prepare for the French round as best I could.”

With recent World RX events not going the way of the Former Double FIA European Rallycross Champion due to either bad luck or contact from other drivers, Timerzyanov knows that the team will give their best effort for the weekend.

“The World RX of France is really something, with an incredible atmosphere. As a team, we’ll be giving our all to make sure we are consistent and fast enough to make the final,” explained Timerzyanov

“We’ve learnt a lot and made progress since the beginning of the season and I think we have every reason to be confident about the coming rounds.”
