Toyota GAZOO Racing World Rally Team’s Jari-Matti Latvala is wanting to end the 2018 FIA World Rally Championship with a continued strong pair of results to help his team clinch the Manufacturer’s title.

Latvala, speaking before this weekend’s RallyRACC de España, said: “I am really excited about Spain and the chance to score a great result to help our bid for the manufacturers’ championship. It is a rally I have always enjoyed: the asphalt stages there are particularly nice to drive.”

“Personally I am on a nice run at the moment and the goal is to keep this going until the end of the season.””

Toyota currently lead the manufacturer’s standings by 20 points over Hyundai with two rounds remaining in 2018 and has finished on the podium in both of the last two events; Dayinsure Wales Rally GB and Rally Turkey.

RallyRACC Rally de España beginning tomorrow evening and continues this weekend until Sunday October 28.
