Jonny Adam, the 2018 British GT Championship Drivers champion has announced he will move to the TF Sport outfit that won the Teams Cup last season.

The move, which puts him alongside AM driver Graham Davidson, ensures Adam and the rest of the outfit go into the winter as early title favourites. Davidson himself is no stranger to racing, having previously won the GT Cup and recording a race win with Jetstream Motorsport last season.

TF Sport Director, Tom Ferrier said; “We started informal talks with Graham at Brands Hatch and then met up over the Donington weekend and pretty much tied up the deal. He has shown impressive pace in his first season in the British GT Championship and is already part of the Aston Martin racing family, so I’m sure together we will enjoy success in 2019.”

Adam himself is no stranger to the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 having secured the Drivers title with Optimum Motorsport last season. He also competes for TF Sport in the FIA World Endurance Championship.

With his 2018 British GT teammate Flick Haigh announcing she would not return to defend her crown, it seemed only logical that Adam would reconvene with the team he is so familiar with internationally.

“It’s good to be returning to TF Sport,” said Adam. “Tom knows how to put together a good team. I raced against Graham this year and he proved to be a very rapid AM, his race win at Spa shows that.

“We all like to set goals ahead of every season, he will be aiming for his first championship and I’ll be pushing for my fourth. I’m quietly confident that as a team, we can put together a strong championship challenge.”

Mark Farmer will also return to his #11 Aston, though has yet to announce his co-driver.
