Dragonspeed takes​ pole for 4 hours of Silverstone

Dragonspeed in the hands of Ben Hanley took pole position ahead of Saturdays 4 hours of Silverstone for the ELMS. United Autosports have lead every session of the weekend so far before Dragonspeed stole the pole position away from the team.

LMP 3 Qualifying
with 10 seconds to go, M Racing with their Norma M30 Put in the quickest time 1:53.468, second fastest in the session was the Ultimate Racing Norma M30 with Matthieu Lahaye on board setting a 1:53.730

LMP2 Qualifying
The session gets underway with all cars lined up waiting to leave the pits. The Opening time was set by the #32 Ligier from United Autosports a 1:43.447 by Alex Brundle.

Nicolas Jamin took the fastest time away briefly for Duqeine Engineering before Dragonspeed with Ben Hanley topped the times. The #22 United Autosports Oreca was soon onto with their first flying lap from Felipe Albuquerque with a 1:42.127.

Dragonspeed jump to the top of the times at the end of the session to take pole position. Ben Hanley setting a 1:41.798
Felipe Albuquerque never improved his opening lap to finish the session second fastest.

Idec Sport with Paul Loup Chatin qualify third fastest with the Oreca Chassis putting in a 1.42.460.

The first non Oreca chassis was the Ligier from United Autosports with Alex Brundle putting in a 1:43.323, this time was 1.525 seconds off the pace of the leading Dragonspeed Oreca chassis proving the Oreca chassis still have the dominance in this series.
