GCK Unkorrupted have revealed their new livery for the upcoming 2020 FIA World Rallycross Championship.
A predominantly black colour scheme is ready to be used by founder of GC Kompetition Guerlain Chicherit and 2018 Super 1600 champion Rokas Baciuska, as the Renault Clio makes its second full-time appearance in the championship.
The Clio has undergone new upgrades during the off-season, including a new engine from supplier Oreca.
Chicherit said: “I won’t pull any punches: we’re here to cause trouble. I’m stoked to be bringing UNKORRUPTED into World RX, and together we will push the limits and not be afraid to ruffle some feathers.“
“I’ve spent my whole career taking on new challenges and ‘changing the rules’, and this time is no different.”
Baciuska had a breakthrough season last year, taking the team’s first qualifying win in his third round and also becoming the first overnight top qualifier at Loheac.
The Lithuanian added on his season’s expectations:“2019 was a massive year for me as it proved to me and to others that I have the speed to compete right at the top of World RX.“
“But in 2020 I want even more. After seeing all the developments on the Clio R.S. RX, I just want to get started and push for the very top. I’m no longer the new kid on the block, so it’s time for me to take the gloves off and get to work.”
The 2020 season is now just a fortnight away with a double-header at Holjes in Sweden to get the FIA World Rallycross Championship underway.
