The most successful team in Porsche Carrera Cup GB history, Team Redline Racing will be returning for the 2021 season with a multi-car entry for the new year.

Micah Stanley becomes the first name to be confirmed for the team for the upcoming Carrera Cup GB campaign, he brings with him experience from the European GT4 series, racing Nissan, Aston Martin and McLaren machinery across two seasons before a move in to British GT as part of Aston Martin’s Young Driver Academy.

“I am really excited to be joining Team Redline Racing to race in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB this season. The team have a huge amount of experience in this championship and have won many titles.” said Stanley.

“We decided to take a year out in 2020 due to the COVID-19 situation but I have been training all year to make sure I am race fit for 2021. I know most of the circuits from racing in the British GT Championship and I have been working on the simulator at the tracks I am less familiar with.

“I’m also really happy to announce that I will have support from the Porsche Centre Silverstone and will carry their logos on my car and race suit. It’s an incredibly exciting time and I can’t wait to start testing very soon.”

Simon Leonard , Managing Director added, “Team Redline Racing are excited to be back on the Porsche Carrera Cup GB grid this season. We have a long and successful history in the championship and we’re focused on securing more silverware this year.

“Micah [Stanley] is a fantastic young talent and we’re delighted to welcome him to the team. He’s shown great speed in GT4 machinery and we’re confident that once he gets to grip with the Porsche, he’s really going to be one to watch in the championship.”

The 2021 season will be contested over eight events at the best circuits in the UK, all in support of the British Touring Car Championship with live television coverage on ITV4. The opening rounds take place at Snetterton in Norfolk on 15/16 May.
