Porsche Carrera Cup GB Am class frontrunners Justin Sherwood and Justin Armstrong will return to the series once again with Team Parker Racing as they resume their battle for the class title.

2021 marks Sherwood’s seventh season with Team Parker Racing and his eighth in the series. He heads in to the new season with a target on his back having taken the Am class championship in 2019 and 2020, now looking to complete the hat-trick of titles.

“Last year was magnificent for Team Parker Racing and it will be great to come back and try to repeat that success this time out.” said Sherwood.

It is such an enjoyable environment to race in every weekend, both with the team and the battles on track, that it was an easy decision to return and try to win the title for the third time in a row.”

For Armstrong he will be taking part in his second season of Carrera Cup GB racing after moving from Caterhams in to the series with Team Parker Racing last season. He will be looking to improve on his results from last season after narrowly missing out on second place in the championship battle.

“I am looking forward to coming back to the Porsche Carrera Cup GB for a second year,” said Armstrong. “Last time out was a bit strange, with the disrupted calendar, but once out on track I enjoyed every minute of it. It was a steep learning curve, but the team has helped me to keep improving and I can’t wait to get back out on track this season.”

With further announcements still to come, Team Parker Racing head in to the 2021 season with reigning champion Harry King, Pro-Am title challenger Ryan Ratcliffe and the to Am entries announced today. Justin Armstrong’s son Matt will also make his Porsche Sprint Challenge this year with Team Parker Racing.
