Alex Dunne will complete Hitech GP’s line-up for the 2022 ROKiT British F4 season.

The 16-year-old has recently completed a successful stint in the F4 UAE series over the winter, claiming two victories and various podium finishes, leading to a successful top five finish in the overall standings.

The Irishman has also competed in the German and Spanish F4 championship’s part time throughout 2021, claiming three podiums and consistent points.

Throughout the winter, Dunne has also entered three of the official test days for British F4 and set the fastest times on two of those occasions at Brands Hatch and Snetterton.

Dunne will now join the team, alongside Eduardo Coseteng, Daniel Mavlyutov and Oliver Stewart for the 2022 season.

Alex Dunne commented: “I’m really happy to be racing with Hitech in British F4 this weekend after a strong start to the year with the team in F4 UAE,

“I look forward to building on that together. Even though the tracks in the UK are new to me, we’ve shown some promising pace in testing!”

Hitech GP’s team manager, Dominic Stott, commented: “We are excited to welcome Alex onboard this weekend at Donington in the opening round of British F4,

“He showed strong pace in F4 UAE over the winter months as we got to grips with the new generation car. Hopefully we can pick up where we left off and have a good weekend.”
