In front of a packed audience at the new Silverstone Headquarters, Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula 1 Team revealed its unique and striking 2023 livery – the third Formula 1 reveal since the brand’s return to the sport in 2021.

Aston Martin driver and double World Champion Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll were present at the launch and stood by as the world was granted its first glimpse at the AMR23.

The AMR23 marks one hundred and ten years for the Aston Martin brand and is an incredible evolution from last year’s car, which endured constant improvement across the season to break into being a consistent points challenger.

Sporting the iconic British racing green colour, the AMR23 will take to the track on February 15 for a filming day at Silverstone with Stroll running the car in the morning and Alonso taking it out in the afternoon.

As the team embarks on its third year in Formula 1, the aim is to deliver a competitive car from the outset. Executive Chairman, Lawrence Stroll appeared at the car side and spoke about the direction Aston Martin is planning to follow in the upcoming season.

Construction of the team’s new 37,000 square metre (400,000 sq. ft) campus is set to be completed by the end of 2024, with the wind tunnel, simulator and exhibition space still to be completed. However, Lawerence Stroll is hoping the new factory will mark a new beginning for the team.

“This year’s move into our new state-of-the-art factory is more than just a serious statement of intent: it will considerably strengthen and empower every single individual in this organisation, helping us to deliver on our ambition to narrow the gap to the front of the grid and, in time, become genuine championship frontrunners,” said Stroll.

“In the past year, we have demonstrated the determination and belief needed to move forward and we have constructed a brand-new car to match our vision and ambition.

“Across our partner portfolio, I want to offer my best wishes to Ravi Kumar, who has just been appointed CEO at Cognizant, a company with whom we share an inspired vision. To the team at Aramco, who have shown incredible faith in this organisation, and to all our partners, I extend my thanks for joining us on this unique journey.

“The talk today is of new energy – and, believe me, it feels like a fresh start and an incredibly promising and ambitious way to begin the new season.”
