Kamui Kobayashi set the fastest time of any driver throughout the four-day test in Barcelona this week, and also completed more laps than any other driver.

Kamui Kobayashi set the quickest time of the entire Barcelona test that has taken place this week at the Circuit de Catalunya. On the fourth and final day of this second pre-season test, Kobayashi completed 145 laps – more than any other driver today – which included his best time of 1:22.312.

Pastor Maldonado was the surprise fastest driver on Day Three of the second pre-season test today in Barcelona. The Williams driver topped the timesheets with a lap of 1:22.391, and was nearly a second quicker than second-placed driver Michael Schumacher.

Nico Hulkenberg was fastest on Day Two in Barcelona with a lap of 1:22.608 as the Formula 1 teams reached the midpoint of pre-season testing. Nico Rosberg matched the achievement of Michael Schumacher yesterday as he too topped the timesheets for Mercedes on this, the third day of pre-season testing in Jerez.

Michael Schumacher was the fastest driver on Day Two of pre-season testing in Jerez, setting a best lap of 1:18.561. The seven-time world champion completed 132 laps in total.

Kimi Raikkonen set the fastest lap in Jerez today as F1 teams ventured out on track to, in most cases, test the brand new cars that they have recently unveiled.
