Super Formula team Mugen Motorsports has joined the “HIGHSPEED Étoile” anime project as a technical advisor, while a manga created with support from Suzuka Circuit is now available.
Overtake!, an anime following a fictionalisation of the F4 Japanese Championship and Super GT, will premiere on 1 October. The first episode was screened in late August at the Super GT round at Suzuka.
“Overtake!”, a fictionalised take on Japanese F4, will star the likes of My Hero Academia’s Tasuku Hatanaka and decorated musician/voice actress Reina Ueda.
A teaser promotional video for the 2024 anime HIGHSPEED Étoile was released Friday. Created in partnership with Super Formula, the show will have branding from series backers Toyota Gazoo Racing and Honda, as well as companies like SEGA and VRChat.
“HIGHSPEED Étoile”, an anime that will collaborate with Super Formula starring upstart voice actress Fuka Izumi and big names like Yoko Hikasa and Nana Mizuki, will premiere in 2024.
TROYCA has revealed “Overtake!”, an anime about Formula 4 with support from Super GT. It is the 3rd racing anime announced since June after Super Formula’s “HIGHSPEED Etoile” and street racer “MF Ghost”.
“HIGHSPEED Étoile”, a new original anime about futuristic open-wheel-style racing, will receive backing from Super Formula through its NEXT 50 Project. The partnership was announced during the Fuji Speedway round.
