YRC Launches 2011 BTCC Hospitality Scheme

1 Mins read

Fan funded British Touring Car Championship outfit YourRacingCar.com have announced a new trackside hospitality scheme for the forthcoming season. They plan to offer fans affordable qualifying and race day hospitality, with the proceeds helping to fund AmDMilltek Racing's VW Golf entry.

The YRC Dome was a permanent fixture trackside at BTCC meetings throughout 2010 and will be back in the new season to host the team's guests, giving them a place to eat, drink, chat with other fans and watch the race action. It will offer food throughout the day, with the menus chosen by a selection of the scheme's members, to ensure it suits the needs of the race fans.

YRC founder Hannah James worked closely with the fans to create the new opportunity, as she explains: “We're really lucky in that racing fans tell us exactly what they want – all we have to do is find a way of making it work. Offering race goers a bit more comfort than they can usual get and really good food isn't as easy as it seems but we've worked really hard to get the price affordable, now we just need customers to look after!”

YRC are keen to get fans in on qualifying days too, with Hannah adding: “We've all got a bit more time to chat on Saturdays and with so much support championship racing on the bill, it would be great to see more people trackside to watch the BTCC qualifying. It's cheaper to get into the circuits too so it's a great opportunity for families to have a day out without breaking the bank”:

Prices start at £35 for YRC members and £45 for non-members per day, with food and drinks included, as well as somewhere to relax whilst at the circuit.
