#30 Martin Depper – #37 Arthur Forster
Former Mini Challenge racers Martin Depper and Arthur Forster have stepped up into the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship with a pair of BMW 320si E90's, the exact same cars that Mat Jackson took to 7 race wins in the two years he spent in them.
Stepping up from the Mini Challenge to the BTCC is a major step up for both driver and team, but they have got the best available pieces of kit for their graduation.
Both drivers have won the Mini Challenge crown, Forster in 2005 and Depper in 2008, and both have been front runners in the series before that.
Forster has raced on the BTCC/TOCA package before, when he raced a privateer car in the Ford Credit Fiesta Championship in 1994.
The team may not make Thruxton after they lost two engines at Brands Hatch, during Media Day but will be on track as soon as possible.
Season Prediction:
Steep learning curve for the team in their debut season, should improve as the season progresses. Points by the end of the season, once the team are fully up to speed with the car.
