1 Mins read

Clio Cup racer Jeff Smith becomes the lastest Triple8 driver this weekend as the British Touring Car Championship heads to Knockhill.

Currently 3rd in the Clio Cup Championship racing for Team Pyro the Wellingborough-based driver has been given the chance to step up to the main series after a familiarisation session earlier this week with the Triple8 team at Rockingham.

Smith will race under number 15 alongside team-mate James Nash.

With Daniel Lloyd expecting to return to the driving seat at Donington Smith will be looking to capitalise on his performance in a bid to get noticed for 2011.
