British F3 Calendar Confirmed

1 Mins read

Series promoters SRO Group have released the 10 date, 30 race calendar for the 2011 British Formula Three International Series.

The season will start in mid-April at Monza, before the domestic season begins, as is tradition, on the Easter bank holiday weekend (23-25 April). The season includes visits to all Britain's top racing venues, only Thruxton is absent from a calendar which will see the F1 hopefuls of the championship take on the new layouts at both Snetterton and Silverstone, the latter's Arena Circuit hosting the season finale.

Also included are three races on mainland Europe over the summer months, races at Paul Ricard, Spa-Francorchamps and Nurburgring separated by a trip home to Rockingham.

The six UK races will see the championship once more headlining with the British GT Championship, with a support package consisting of the MSA Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain, Volkswagen Racing Cup, as well as Ginetta and Caterham racing.
