William Buller Looks For Repeat Success At Macau

1 Mins read

When William Buller takes to the Gaia Circuit on Macau for this year's Formula Three race on the formidable street circuit he will be hoping to repeat previous success.

One year ago the Ulsterman entered and won the Formula BMW Pacific race at the track before moving up to Formula Three this year.

Buller entered last year’s race with Richard Dutton's Fortec Motorsport squad and it is to the team he will return for Macau having signed up to join the team for next year's British Formula Three International Series after competing for Hitech Racing this past season. He ended the season in fine form – taking his first podium of the year on the final weekend, finishing eighth in the points standings.

“It's great to be back in Macau and I have some fantastic memories after winning here last year,” said Buller. “This will be my first F3 race with Fortec, which I'm really looking forward to, and I'm going into the weekend on the back of a really good testing programme with them over the past few months.”

“The line-up for the F3 race is strong this season and some of the drivers are coming back for a third or fourth year, but I think my victory in the Formula BMW race last year has put me in a good position to try and fight for a place on the podium.”

“I can't wait to get on track and get down to business!”

Buller will form part of three car attack on Macau from Fortec, joining fellow British F3 regulars Oli Webb and Lucas Foresti.
