Next year's British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) calendar will again include ten race weekends each with three races, the provisional dates reveal.

As well as the structure, the general look of the calendar also remains familiar. As this season the 2012 campaign starts on the Brands Hatch Indy circuit (March 31-April 1), before visiting the same eight tracks as in previous years before ending on the GP track at the Kent venue (October 20-21). The longer Brands Hatch layout also hosted the final races of the 2009 season.

The series will return to the longer Snetterton 300 layout (August 11-12), the Norfolk track once more the first race of the second half of the season, with Knockhill, Rockingham and Silverstone following before the finale.

Though the current provisional calendar does not include Donington Park, a round at the East Midlands track is expected to be confirmed in the next few weeks.
