Motors TV and Channel 4 are to broadcast a documentary program following Sunoco Rolex 24 at Daytona Challenge winner Felipe Nasr on his journey to the podium at Daytona International Speedway.
Brazilian Nasr won the 2011 British Formula Three International Series, also winning the Sunoco Challenge competition that offered a Daytona Prototype drive to one competitor from three British racing series using Sunoco's race fuels.
Following the conclusion of the F3 season Felipe tested for Action Express Racing at Daytona before returning to the famous track, this time with Michael Shank Racing for the official test and the the 50th running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
Nasr, along with the rest of the four man team in the no.6 entry finished the race in third overall while Michael Shank's other entry won overall.
The Hayfisher Productions made show will also feature Aaron Steele who won another competition organised by Sunoco to complete in the Grand-Am 200 Continental Tires Series race that supported the Rolex 24.
The show will premiere on Motors TV's European network at 3:10pm and one Motors TV UK at 3:45pm on Saturday February 11. The first showing on Channel 4 will be at 7:30am a week later (Saturday Febraury 18).
A repeat is scheduled for 2:30am on Wednesday 22 February on Channel 4. The program will enjoy regular repeats on Motors TV – both in the UK and across Europe throughout February.
