The Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship will be giving fans their first official glimpse of this years field this coming Monday at Silverstone.
Teams will be busy preparing their cars for the first timed session of the season which will give drivers and teams an idea of how their competition will be performing.
One team that is especially busy this weekend is Luton-based Team ES Racing, who have been up against the clock since a testing accident at Brands Hatch earlier this week (see separate story). Despite the huge challenge the team are faring well in their bid to get Chris James‘ Vauxhall Vectra ready to run on Monday and have today been putting the car back together following its visit to the bodyshop to be straightened out.
Fans will be excited to see the new Triple Eight Race Engineering MG6 with Jason Plato looking to make a strong assault this year after losing out on the championship in 2011 to the Honda Civics.
With the whole 2012 field on show the afternoon test session will be busy, there is free admission to the public from 1230 onwards.
