Red Bull Select Felix da Costa and Frijns for Young Driver Test

Red Bull have selected Antonio Felix da Costa and Robin Frijns to drive for them in the three-day Young Driver Test in Abu Dhabi which takes place the week after the F1 grand prix at Yas Marina.

Felix da Costa, who is part of the Red Bull Young Driver Programme and finished third in this season’s GP3 championship, will be in the car for the first two days of the test.

The 21-year-old, who was born in Lisbon, Portugal, is expected to get his chance in Formula 1 within the next couple of years at Toro Rosso.

Frijns, who will be driving a Sauber on the Tuesday of the test, will be in the RB8 on the Thursday. The Dutchman earned his day in the Red Bull by winning the Formula Renault 3.5 Series championship last weekend.
