Neate Announces Exit From MG Squad

1 Mins read

Andy Neate has parted company with MG KX Momentum Racing, though he remains committed to staying in the British Touring Car Championship for 2013.

This winter will be the third time Neate has switched BTCC teams since he entered the series in 2010 as teammate to Rob Collard at West Surrey Racing. For 2011 he switched to Team Aon, joining Tom Chilton and Tom Onslow-Cole as they debuted the new style S2000 Ford Focus before joining the new works backed MG venture run by Triple Eight Race Engineering for the most recent season.

Neate explained to btcc.net – the series’ official website – that it had been his decision to leave the team, opening up a potentially race winning seat in the team alongside double champion Jason Plato for the 2013 campaign.

Neate has not announced an intention of which team he plans to drive for in 2013.
