Jordan To Miss Race Three At Snetterton

1 Mins read

Reigning Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Champion Andrew Jordan will miss the final race of the weekend at Snetterton.

A big accident in FP1 yesterday ruled him out of the rest of the day on medical grounds. While he was cleared to race this morning after a check-up, signs of exhaustion following race two this afternoon have left the BTCC’s medical team to decide as a precaution he won’t contest race three.

In the opening race of the day, Jordan took his Pirtek Racing Honda Civic from a pitlane start to sixteenth at the finish.

His hopes of a top ten finish and a chance of getting the reverse grid pole for race three were dashed in race two when running tenth, contact with Rob Collard and Jack Goff at Brundle spun him around. He went on to finish 15th.

Race three, round eighteen of the season, starts at 16.57.
