4) Alex Palou
The seventeen-year-old Spaniard just finished his first season of single seater racing in fine style, taking his third win of the season for Campos Racing in the EuroFormula Open Championship on route to finishing third in the final standings.
One of only three drivers to win during the 2014 season, Palou was quick straight out of the blocks, winning his very first single seater race at the Nurburgring at the beginning of May, and was challenging for a double victory when his car gave up on him around mid-distance in race two.
Palou, along with Sandy Stuvik and Artur Janosz, where by far the dominant drivers in 2014, and the Spaniard will be looking to step up perhaps into European Formula 3 in 2015, and Macau this weekend will give him a good opportunity to develop as a driver.
He will be driving for the Fortec Motorsports team in Macau, a team that has struggled on occasions in 2014, and although he is unlikely to win, Palou is an exciting talent that will be shown to the wider audience this weekend.
