3) Markus Pommer
The 2014 German Formula 3 Champion, twenty-three-year-old Pommer took an amazing fourteen victories on route to a comfortable championship while driving for the Lotus team.
The German driver has an impressive resume, and took two race wins in the 2014 Auto GP World Series championship alongside his German F3 exploits, having spent a year in Porsche Supercup in 2013.
Driving for the Motopark team, who have announced they are looking to join the European Formula 3 Championship full time in 2015, Pommer will have a good opportunity to bring his German F3 form into the International F3 arena, and he certainly won’t be shy in taking any opportunity that might fall his way.
Making his Macau debut, the German will take some time to learn the track, but expect Pommer to be inside the top ten and up to speed quickly. If he and Motopark can gel well together, he could be a legitimate threat for the victory.
